About The Seminar:

At InnowayRG company, we are designing innovative medical devices, treatment approaches, producing prototypes and performing necessary validation studies by a multidisciplinary team of medical doctors, engineers and scientists. Company is based in İstanbul Aydın University Biocube İstanbul and established by Ayhan Olcay (Cardiologist), Serdar Baki Albayrak (Neurosurgeon), Vedat Öztürk (Mechanical Engineer), Onur Yolay (Biologist and Technology Transfer Specialist), Erdem Tezcan (Chemist, Molecular Biologist). Different scientific and private industry backgrounds of team members lead to paradigm changing solutions and product prototypes. InnowayRG is also cooperating in some projects with outside experts. Company members applied for multiple TUBITAK, KOSGEB, Horizon 2020 and EU projects. Working in health related field requires rigorous animal and human studies and we are continuously publishing our results in academic meetings and journals. InnowayRG is a startup company with multiple patents, prototypes and is aiming to become an international biotechnology company. 

About the Speaker:

Prof. Olcay is Marmara Medical School graduate and finished cardiology specialization in İstanbul Medical School. He has academic affiliation with İstanbul Aydın University School of Medicine and is co-founder of InnowayRG company. His primary interest is interventional cardiology practice and is working on Policapr, Curatio Dualis, Omniport Cerebrale, Vita Exploralis, Abacus projects in InnowayRG. As a practicing cardiologist and an innovator Prof. Olcay thinks that there is a large discrepancy between unmet clinical needs in medical field and large industry supplied solutions.  He is working with his team to develop paradigm shifting innovative solutions to daily clinical problems with a transdisciplinary team.
