About The Seminar:

The aim of the talk is to discuss the evolution of scientific thinking through the history of thought and to study how it interacts with other disciplines such as philosophy, metaphysics, theology and law. It is important for a scientist to understand the fact that the progress of science is often determined by nonscientific factors. Hence, it is always critical to know about other modes of thinking for enhancing the scientific creativity at the boundaries of human knowledge.

About the Speaker:

Ahmet Ademoğlu received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering, M.S. and Ph.D. from Biomedical Engineering, all from Bogazici University. He has been teaching at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering of Bogazici University for the last 20 years. His main research interests are neuroimaging and neuroinformatics.
